The ‘Shaw Rocket Fund: Being Seen Breakfast’ at the Banff World Media Festival 2022 provided a platform for important dialogue within the screen media industry. Based on findings from the ‘Black Screen Office Being Seen: Children’s Media Report’, the panel discussed authentic representation on Canadian screens by consulting with Black, People of Colour, 2SLGBTQIA+ and People with Disabilities.
