CRTC and Government Relations

Since the early 2000s, the Rocket Fund has actively participated in CRTC regulatory proceedings on behalf of Canada’s children’s and youth media sector. Most recently, we filed submissions and appeared at hearings for The Path Forward – Working towards a sustainable Canadian broadcasting system (BNC CRTC 2024-288, 2025-2 and 2025-52), advocating for sustained investment and structural reform to secure the future of Canada’s children’s production sector, for the benefit of Canadian and Indigenous kids and youth.
