The Shaw Rocket Fund is dedicated to making the online world safer for kids, so we partnered with the kidSAFE Seal Program to bring certification of safe kids digital content to Canada.
Through the Rocket Online Safety Program (ROSP), all eligible Canadian digital content has access to safety certification through the kidSAFE Seal Program, provided courtesy of the Shaw Rocket Fund until December 31, 2021.
Who can get certified?
Certification is offered to any eligible digital content for kids, regardless of Shaw Rocket Fund investment, to fuel our mission of making online experiences safe for children. Producers who have received previous Rocket Fund investment for Canadian digital content are automatically eligible (and it is actually a requirement for new digital investments!); for those who haven’t, find the eligibility requirements here.
Why get certified?
kidSAFE Seal certification not only helps increase confidence in your content for parents, but the process will help you understand how to ensure your current and future technology is compliant with online safety and privacy standards. We even have a Compliance Toolkit that will help you create technology that is safe for kids.
